By the CONTACTOMAT system we basically mean the four different processes listed below for the manufacture of electromechanical switching elements.
The CONTACTOMAT system offers the following advantages:
• Great savings in precious metals
• Metallic bonding between contact carrier and contact material, i.e. excellent mechanical and electrical properties
• Miniaturization of the switching elements
• High production with consistently high quality and reduced costs thanks to automation
• Economical solution thanks to scrap-free processing of the expensive precious metal contacts
The CONTACTOMAT system is based on a modular principle using proven modules and elements and is characterized by the following features:
• Robust, simply constructed and flexible automatic machines
• Easy to operate and service, good accessibility and short changeover times
• State-of-the-art control and automation technology ensures optimum process and operational reliability
• Fully automatic processing of endless contact materials (wire or profile) or prefabricated contact plates (bulk material).
• Fully automatic processing of endless contact carrier strips or prefabricated contact carriers (bulk material).
